Preparing a Tank for Amano Shrimp

The water should have a pH level between 6 and 7.5, a temperature between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and a hardness of 7 to 10 dGH. It is a good idea to use a water testing kit to make sure that the levels are within the acceptable parameters. Once the water is tested and deemed suitable, the tank should be filled with dechlorinated water.
Establishing the Aquascape
